Overview of Strategic Planning Seminar (AP/EMEA) (Level 1)

Each day 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. CET | 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. SST

Engage in advanced strategic planning sessions that use the agile method of project management to create a robust, iterative strategic plan and process. Through workshop-style sessions and discussions, learn how to take your strategic plan from a static document to a truly functional roadmap that ignites change to achieve your organization’s mission.

In an interactive cohort of your peers, you will apply the principles of agile to continuously deliver value to your school’s stakeholders, rally around performance metrics, and distill your efforts to focus on the biggest impacts you can make related to your mission.

This seminar will also address the importance of KPIs and how to define them, creating dashboards to measure success, and categorizing, visualizing, and reporting data to stakeholders. While the traditional structure of a strategic plan will be discussed, creating that structure will not be the main goal. Participants must have either attended the Overview of Strategic Planning Seminar or must be familiar with strategic planning concepts.

Learning Objectives

  • Apply the agile methodology to strategic planning in a business school setting
  • Establish an iterative, robust strategic planning process that prioritizes delivering on your school’s mission
  • Apply key desired outcomes of your strategic plan to measurable KPIs and data for regular reporting to stakeholders
  • Learn the fundamentals of creating a dashboard to display KPIs to executives and other stakeholders
