We are seeking a Data Engineer who is excited to join forces with a talented core of data and business analysts to build insightful and useful tools for variety of stakeholders. As the Data Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the pipelines for AACSB’s data warehouse and will collaborate with a variety of different stakeholders to develop solutions.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Design and develop solutions to enhance AACSB’s data infrastructure.
  • Design and implement effective processes to store, retrieve, and transform data. Teach these methods to users and developers.
  • Document systems, keeping the backend technology, service, and API documentation up to date, including the building of workflow documentation to help explain systems as needed to other stakeholders.
  • Perform code reviews to provide support and quality control before changes are released.
  • Monitor AACSB’s data assets and perform troubleshooting and testing to ensure workflows are functioning as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Fluency in English language
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Python, R, or similar programming languages
  • Proficiency with SQL
  • Three (3) or more years of backend data service development or data engineering
  • Three (3) or more years of data center design, development, and management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Data or Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or Stats, MIS, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field obtained through an accredited college or university
  • Five (5) years of relevant experience
  • Experience with Airflow
  • Mastery of Python and SQL

As the Senior Manager of Human Resources, you will provide operational leadership for HR programs, functions and processes and serve as a trusted, primary point of contact for employees at all levels. In this role, you will provide operational leadership for benefits and retirement plans, compensation, employee engagement, performance management, professional development programs and special projects. You will also play an important role in leading HR-related audit and compliance efforts to ensure that plans and programs are operating effectively and appropriately.  

How You Will Contribute:

  • Manage a rich portfolio of benefits and leave programs for employees in the U.S., Singapore and Amsterdam offices; manage the U.S. annual benefits open enrollment process; educate and build employee awareness on benefits and responsible use; resolve complex benefits concerns and serve as a liaison with the insurance broker; administer and maintain compliance with AACSB’s 403(b) retirement plan; manage FMLA and ADA requests; leads audit and compliance efforts for insurance and retirement.
  • Monitor pay competitiveness and makes recommendations to ensure pay equity and competitiveness
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and managers for HR-related concerns; establish trust and confidence with employees at all levels. Keep the VP of HR & Governance apprised of emerging concerns and identified needs.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement strategies, including annual climate surveys and quarterly engagement surveys. Analyze engagement data and make recommendations for programs and efforts to enhance employee engagement.
  • In partnership with the VP of HR & Governance, execute and facilitate impactful DEIB programs and events.
  • Monitor performance management, ensuring that employees and managers actively participate in the process; work with managers and employees to address performance concerns and performance improvement plans.
  • Lead professional development efforts, ensuring that employees are actively engaged with performance development; design and facilitate leadership development programs; consult with managers and employees to identify professional development opportunities.
  • Serve as a project manager for HR projects as identified on the HR Strategic Plan.
  • Develop and track meaningful KPIs and use data for continuous improvement; identify and implement process changes that create efficiencies and add value
  • Monitor changing laws and regulations in the countries and U.S. states where employees reside and ensure compliance; stay abreast with emerging trends and best practices and makes recommendations for program and policy changes to ensure compliance.
  • Ensures regulatory compliance with all local, state and federal regulation, and with AACSB’s policy and practices.
  • Lead and provide guidance to the Operations Coordinator.

Required Qualifications:

  • Fluency in English language
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications applicable to position
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR or related field obtained through an accredited college or university
  • Three (3) years exempt level HR experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading HR projects and initiatives from conception to evaluation
  • Comfortable working in a culturally diverse, global environment                    

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a related field obtained through an accredited college or university
  • Five (5) years exempt level HR experience, with at least one year of supervisory experience
  • Experience in benefits and retirement plan administration and compliance
  • Active HR certification from SHRM and/or HRCI (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, etc.)
