Reporting to the EVP and Global Chief Membership Officer, the Vice President and Managing Director, Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) is a member of the Global Membership Team’s leadership group. In this role, you will contribute to the strategy and operational direction for AACSB’s membership and will lead strategic and operational success for the EMEA region, which will include leading the development and implementation of the EMEA regional strategy and operating plan within the context of AACSB and Global Membership Team’s overall strategy; developing, overseeing and advancing outreach activities with key stakeholders in EMEA, as well as developing relationship management practices in collaboration with other functional areas in AACSB; serve as staff liaison to the EMEA regional advisory committees; and developing the EMEA team members and overseeing EMEA office administration including budget planning and oversight.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the EMEA regional strategy and operating plan.
  • Track performance against plans and budgets to ensure achievement of goals and objectives for all functional areas of responsibility.
  • Develop and refine processes to improve efficiency and achievement of goals and objectives.
  • Organize staff to meet functional and/or geographic goals and to provide outstanding service across all operations.
  • Identify, recruit, and support member institutions, both educational and business in the EMEA region, as well as identify and recruit institutions in the EMEA region that express interest in or are otherwise appropriate to enter the accreditation process.
  • Collaborate with AACSB staff to co-deliver seminars, conferences, and other value-added services to meet the needs of the EMEA region.
  • Contribute directly to the development of the global AACSB membership strategy, including other key regions and functions, such as business education intelligence, and advocacy and awareness.
  • Serve as the primary external representative of AACSB in EMEA, including developing and maintaining strong external relationships with key stakeholders, and developing and delivering presentations about management education and AACSB International.
  • Identify and recruit potential volunteers for AACSB service.
  • Collaborate to develop systems and practices in purposeful relationship management.
  • Maintain an understanding of the business education environment and AACSB’s initiatives, products, and services.
  • Serve as leadership team liaison to regional advisory councils.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Global Membership Team leadership group and contribute positively to strategic and operational planning, implementation, and evaluation. Develop vision, strategies, and goals for each area of responsibility to ensure high-quality support to the AACSB staff and membership in alignment with the AACSB and Global Membership Team strategic agenda.

Required Qualifications:

  • Fluency in the English language.
  • Advanced degree in a related field obtained through an accredited college or university.
  • Fifteen (15) years of relevant experience, including academic leadership including having served as a dean in the EMEA region.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluency in a European language.
  • Extensive knowledge of higher education and business schools.
  • Experience with the AACSB network in the region.
  • Comfortable working in a culturally diverse environment.

Americas

As the Data Systems Architect, you will be responsible for designing the infrastructure for all data systems to organize and extract organizational data, and to maintain data integrity. The Data Systems Architect identifies both internal and external data sources and seeks solutions to supplementing data needs. The Data Systems Architect provides database, reporting and business intelligence support across the organization.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Develop and execute solutions to enhance AACSB’s data infrastructure.
  • Design and implement effective processes to store, retrieve, and transform data.
  • Document systems, keeping the backend technology, service, and API documentation up to date, including the building of workflow documentation to help explain systems as needed to other stakeholders.
  • Review code for data engineers on the team to provide support and quality control before changes are released.
  • Monitor AACSB’s data assets and perform troubleshooting and testing to ensure workflows are functioning as required.
  • Recommend and evaluate combinations of technologies (including playing a role in vendor evaluation) that are suitable to AACSB’s needs and evaluate how they integrate with existing stack.
  • Develop and implement policies that support the data governance framework to protect AACSB data assets.
  • Partner with internal clients to understand their data needs, make recommendations for potential data assets to integrate with, execute projects, and provide actionable analyses.

Required Qualifications:

  • Mastery of Python and SQL.
  • Fluency in English language.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor's degree in data or computer science, applied mathematics or stats, MIS, data analytics, engineering, or a related field obtained through an accredited college or university.
  • Two (2) years of experience actively overseeing an enterprise data warehouse.

As the Marketing & Communications Specialist, you will assist in facilitating the creation, publication, and distribution of AACSB’s thought leadership content. You will use data analytics to inform the direction of the organization’s advocacy and thought leadership efforts.

  • Publish digital content including articles, videos, thought leadership papers, graphics, and informational pages to AACSB’s website using Sitecore CMS.

The Strategic Relationships Coordinator assists in creating and coordinating the delivery of sponsorships, conference exhibits, and advertising, and organizes the delivery and sales of the AACSB Career Connection, a job board for our members and the business education industry, and the exhibitor program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prospects for new exhibitors, sponsors, advertisers, and business members and utilizes Alliance (association management software) to add, update, and maintain opportunities, leads, and relationship histories for strategic partners. Provides timely communication to exhibitors, sponsors, advertisers, and strategic partners.
  • Assists in creating integrated marketing strategies and related collateral materials to increase business members, advertisers, exhibitors, sponsors, and AACSB Career Connection postings.
  • Enters and maintains exhibits, advertising, sponsorship, and sales and marketing data in Alliance and processes all invoices for exhibitors, sponsors, and advertisers.
  • Utilizes Alliance and other tools as needed to provide data for internal and external reports and provides input in creating new reports. Maintains recurring reports.
  • Updates strategic relationships management and event webpages for advertising, exhibits, and sponsorships. Administers AACSB Career Connection Twitter page.
  • Serves as a member of the Global Membership Team and contributes to business member engagement plans and business member recruitment.
  • Coordinates the exhibitor program including the process for identifying, marketing, and selling to potential exhibitors; ensuring appropriate recognitions; and assigning exhibit space in consultation with supporting manager.
  • Utilizes the event management system to coordinate exhibitor deliverables and deadlines for events and manages on-site execution of exhibitors and sponsors, including room layouts, shipments, and questions, and ensures all exhibit and sponsor benefits are recognized.
  • Maintains tracking system of advertisers to determine advertising campaign results and a list of potential advertisers utilizing surveys and technology.
  • Uses Google Analytics, Alliance, and the ad management system to deploy digital advertising and advertising statistic reports.
  • Sells and promotes job postings, recruitment ad packages, and administers the AACSB Career Connection.
  • Performs duties in accordance with AACSB International’s Mission and Values.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in the English language.
  • Associates Degree in a related field.
  • One year of experience in business development and/or sales.
  • Ability to travel 10-15 percent of the time (domestic and international travel).
