Participants will be given global examples of ideas for initiatives, successful partnerships, and ways to leverage existing processes. This session will provide inspiration so that participants can hear real examples of how b-schools are being successful in executing their DEIB efforts and leveraging their resources.
Facilitators will lead a discussion on how to overcome possible challenges in executing and evaluating DEIB efforts, as well as tips and strategies to consider. Common issues to be discussed will include funding, gaining stakeholder buy-in and leadership direction.
Facilitators will share various metrics and tools, both qualitative and quantitative approaches, that participants can consider for evaluating DEIB efforts. Facilitators will discuss challenges to consider. Participants will then start to begin drafting their strategy and evaluation plan, guided by the facilitators, which they can take back to their institution.
Participants will continue to work on their individualized plans. The group will report out unique challenges encountered while drafting their plans. The group will gain insight from one another and presenters on possible evaluation methods and solutions for anticipated challenges.
We will discuss what industry needs from today’s b-school, what students expect, and how to best stay responsive to the demands. Participants will explore ways to actively stay responsive and strategic in their DEIB efforts.
We will wrap up with a discussion focused on the tangible tools and next steps needed to evaluate your DEIB efforts and keep the momentum for continuous improvement at your institution.
