The agenda is subject to change. Changes can occur up until the start of the event.

This immersive, full-day workshop is designed for accredited and in-process schools seeking a practical understanding of the most significant updates in the standards, and how to respond to them with confidence. Building on participants’ existing familiarity with AACSB accreditation, this interactive session moves beyond overview to application. Through guided discussions, hands-on exercises, and real-world scenarios, participants will explore how updates across faculty qualifications, curriculum, teaching effectiveness, and societal impact affect institutional practice. This workshop focuses on interpreting updated requirements, identifying implications to your school, and beginning the transition from understanding to implementation. Participants will leave with clearer priorities, practical tools, and a structured approach to preparing their schools for a successful transition.

This opening session provides a high‑level overview of the evolution from the 2020 AACSB Business Accreditation Standards to the 2026 Global Standards framework, highlighting the broader scope and increased interconnectedness across all areas. Participants will gain context on why AACSB expanded its focus beyond accredited schools and how the standards now function as an integrated system for quality and continuous improvement.
This session explores how Standards 1- 3 strengthen expectations around mission-driven strategic management and innovation. Participants will examine updates to faculty qualification requirements and the integration of teaching effectiveness into faculty-related criteria, emphasizing how these elements support stronger alignment between strategy, people, and impact.
This session examines how Standards 4 - 6 elevate expectations for learner readiness through digital agility, integrated curriculum design, and a more intentional focus on skill development. Participants will explore enhancements to Assurance of Learning, including the revised Table 5‑1, and learn how these updates support clearer AoL reporting.
This session highlights how Standards 7 – 9 place renewed emphasis on the impact of teaching effectiveness, faculty scholarship, and societal impact, and the broader value schools create for their stakeholders. Participants will explore the expectations in developing a school-level framework for teaching effectiveness and the expanded flexibility in demonstrating societal impact. The session will help schools understand how to align their mission, activities, and outcomes to tell a compelling, mission‑anchored impact story.
This session provides an overview of the major updates to the 2026 Accounting Accreditation Standards and their alignment with the broader AACSB Global Standards framework. Participants will explore the relationship between the business and accounting standards, changes affecting faculty and curriculum expectations, and increased expectations for learner engagement with practice.
In this collaborative working session, participants will translate insights from the day into a practical Transition Planning Worksheet tailored to their institution’s needs. The activity guides attendees in identifying areas affected by the 2026 standards updates, strengthening evidence and documentation, engaging key stakeholders, and setting priority actions for their school.
This closing session provides space for participants to reflect on key insights from the day and ask final questions about the 2026 standards updates. Facilitators will highlight recommended next steps and practical actions schools can take as they begin applying the revised standards.
