AACSB does not have an official room block for this conference. The hotel options listed below are within a 10-15 minutes drive from the Bologna Business School. Each delegate is responsible for making their own hotel reservation and may select the hotel of their choice. The cost of the hotel room is not included in the registration fee. Any guest room changes, cancellations, etc. are the delegate’s responsibility and must be made directly with your hotel of choice.

AACSB will offer a complimentary shuttle service as an additional transportation option between the Autostazione di Bologna (Bologna Bus Station) and the Bologna Business School. Please review the details below.

Public Transportation

Public transportation is available from the Bologna city center toward the BBS campus area. From Piazza Cavour you can take: 

• Bus Line 59 (check TPER bus schedule in advance)  

Exit at the stop “Villa Guastavillani” for a short walk from here to the bottom of staircase leading to the event location on BBS campus. 

Estimated travel time: 25 minutes (depending on traffic) 

Tickets: Can be purchased at tobacconists (Tabacchi), ticket machines, local transit apps or contactless payment on the bus

Taxi & Rideshare Services

Attendees may also choose to travel to the Bologna Business School via taxi or rideshare services. 

If you plan to arrange your own transportation, we strongly recommend booking in advance (ideally the night before). Due to a high volume of citywide events, taxi and rideshare services may be limited or experience delays—particularly during peak morning and evening hours.

Tips:

• Allow extra time for pick-up and travel, especially in the morning  

• Confirm your destination as “Bologna Business School Villa Guastavillani” when booking  

• If using hotel concierge services, consider asking them to arrange a taxi for you in advance 

Important Note: Rideshare services such as Uber can be used to travel to the Bologna Business School campus. However, these services are not available for pick-up on campus. For return transportation, attendees should plan to arrange a taxi in advance.

Visa Invitation Letters

AACSB International’s policy requires attendees be registered and paid in full or invoiced (balance due prior to start of event) to receive a visa invitation letter. If you are registered for an event in which you are requesting an Invitation Letter, please complete the Request for Invitation Letter Form. Please allow up to three business days for a response.
