Maximize your transition to associate dean through networking with other new associate deans and exploring topics that are essential to the administrative role. Audhesh_PaswanAudhesh Paswan, University of North Texas

Dr Paswan earned his Ph.D. (1992) in Marketing from the University of Mississippi, MS, USA; a PGDM (MBA) in 1980 from the IIM, Ahmedabad; B.Tech. (Aeronautics) in 1978 from the IIT, Madras, and a B.Sc. (PCM) from Tinsukia College, Tinsukia, India. Dr. Paswan joined the College of Business at the University of South Dakota in 1992 as an Assistant Professor of Marketing.  In 1999, he moved to the College of Business, University of North Texas, Denton, as an Assistant Professor of Marketing. In 2016, he took up the position of the Associate Dean for the Graduate Program at the now RCOB, UNT. In 2023, he took up the position of the Vice Provost of UNT-Frisco and the Dean of CACS. He also retains the position of Marketing professor at the RCOB, UNT.  Before coming into academia, Dr. Paswan spent eight years (1980-1988) in the advertising industry (HTA and Clarion) as an account manager and planner, and as a brand manager (CPD) in the Pharmaceutical industry (Jagdale Group) in India. Dr. Paswan has published over 100 articles in peer-reviewed journals such as the JM, DSJ, JR, EJM, JPPM, JPBM, and JBR. His research interests include services marketing and innovation; marketing channels, franchising, retailing; macro and societal marketing; NPD; brand management; cross-cultural and international marketing; and knowledge management. Dr. Paswan mostly taught Structural Equation Modeling and Multivariate Statistics at the Doctoral level, and Marketing Analytics courses at the master’s and undergraduate levels. He has also taught several other courses such as Services Marketing, International Marketing, Promotional Management, New Product Development, and Product & Brand Management. Dr. Paswan believes in experiential learning, i.e., learning by actually doing.

Libby RozellLibby Rozell, AACSB International

Dr. Libby Rozell currently serves as the Regional Head of the Americas at AACSB International, where she supports member schools across the region and advances AACSB’s mission to foster engagement, accelerate innovation, and amplify impact in business education. Previously, she served as associate dean of the College of Business at Missouri State University and Professor of Management. She taught Organizational Behavior at the graduate and undergraduate levels for over 25 years. Dr. Rozell received her PhD in Business Administration (Management) from the University of Mississippi. For 18 years, she held the title of Kenneth E. Meyer Professor of Management, awarded by the College of Business for her exemplary research performance. Articles she has written have appeared in elite publications such as Personnel Psychology, Group and Organization Studies, and the Journal of Psychology. She has authored over 60 publications and has received several outstanding teaching and research awards.
