Strategic Planning Seminar (Montpellier)
This seminar will take place at Montpellier Management, Université de Montpellier in Montpellier, France. This seminar will begin at 9:00 a.m. on day one and conclude at 5:30 p.m. on day two.
Engage in this workshop-style seminar with peer business school leaders on effective strategic planning. Explore examples and challenges related to strategic planning, from goal creation and measurement to micro-plans and agile planning methods.
Through interactive exercises, relate your strategic plan to the AACSB standards and examine relevant, timely examples that will support your planning journey. Learn how to gain university and college-wide support for your efforts, and how to turn your colleagues into change agents in support of stated goals.
Apply the principles of agile to continuously rally around performance metrics and focus on the biggest impacts you can make related to your mission. Define KPIs to measure success and learn how to report and visualize the data for stakeholders.
Then, enhance your plan and process with a micro-plan. A micro plan is a “plan-within-a-plan,” where a specific element of a larger plan is nuanced enough to require its own process. A micro-plan helps solve complex issues with a specific action plan and performance indicators that support the overall macro plan.
Your strategic plan is more than a shared document. It is an opportunity to unite your stakeholders to strengthen your school, university, and community.
