An annual initiative, the Innovations That Inspire challenge recognizes institutions from around the world serving as champions of change in the business education landscape. Now in its fourth year, the challenge has highlighted more than 100 business school efforts that exemplify forward-looking approaches to research, education, engagement and outreach, and leadership. To date, members of AACSB’s Business Education Alliance have shared more than 800 innovations, creating a robust repository via AACSB’s DataDirect system to inform and inspire fellow members and the industry.
Additional strength in business school research comes from organizations such as the Responsible Research in Business & Management (RRBM) network. The RRBM is dedicated to inspiring, encouraging, and supporting credible and useful research in the business and management disciplines, and AACSB is proud to partner with them in these efforts.
“The future calls for business schools to capitalize on academic strengths in order to grow and develop the rich space between theory and practice in ways that positively impact society. To do so, schools will need to pursue operational models and strategies that firmly position themselves at the intersection of industry and practice, as conveners and partners in the knowledge creation ecosystem rather than just suppliers.”
