James Fisher, Professor of Marketing & Emerson Ethics Fellow, Saint Louis University, Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business
Jim Fisher started his career in the marketing department at Saint Louis University in 1985. From the very beginning he has been a case study teacher. He has used this approach to marketing management and business decision-making—as well as business ethics—to teach undergraduates, graduates and business executives. Fisher also does case research and writing. He is the past-president of the North American Case Research Association and has written scores of cases on a wide range of topics, including product liability, genetic engineering, marketing communications and business ethics. While at Saint Louis University, Fisher has served as the chair of the marketing department and as the director of the Emerson Electric Center for Business Ethics (now the Emerson Leadership Institute). Currently, he is a professor of marketing and Emerson Faculty Fellow. He received his bachelor and doctorate degrees from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and his masters of divinity from Yale University.
Morris Kalliny, Rowan University, Rohrer College of Business
Morris Kalliny is currently the associate dean at Rohrer College of Business at Rowan University. Prior to joining Rowan, Kalliny was associate dean at the College of Business and Public Administration at Eastern Washington University. Kalliny also has taught and served as the business programs director at Missouri University of Science and Technology and taught at Saint Louis University. Kalliny has taught in undergraduate programs, MBA programs, Executive Master program and the PhD program. Kalliny has won several teaching awards including Best Graduate Faculty of the Year Award (2015), Best Professor of the Year (Executive masters) Award (2012), Outstanding Faculty of the Year Award (2010), Outstanding Teaching Award (2008) and Faculty Excellence Award (2007). Kalliny has published more than 70 refereed publications and won several research awards including The Nokyoon Kwak Faculty Research Award (2011), 2nd Best Paper Award (2012) and Best Paper Award (2015). In addition, Kalliny has also won the 2013 Service Award and Outstanding Academic Advisor Award (2008). Kalliny is passionate about teaching with a firm belief that education can and should transform the lives of students. Kalliny has lived and studied in three different continents and has a focus in international marketing both in teaching and research. Kalliny holds a PhD in international business and marketing from The University of Texas-Pan American and an MBA from Northwest Nazarene University and an undergraduate degree in business and education from Middle East University.
