Rachel Dixon-Zudar, AACSB International
Rachel Dixon-Zudar serves as manager, accreditation services at AACSB International, managing a portfolio of approximately 180 business schools throughout the United States. Rachel’s background includes positions in marketing as well as previously working in the conferences department of AACSB. She holds an MBA in Strategy from The University of Alabama.
Barb Higel, AACSB International
Barb Higel serves as an Accreditation Services Manager for AACSB International and is the staff liaison for 175 schools in the U.S. As manager, she is responsible for assisting schools and volunteers with the accreditation standards and processes for initial accreditation and continuous improvement reviews. Prior to joining AACSB in 2013, Barb worked in the University of South Florida system for almost nine years. While at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg, she worked in the College of Business for five years in various roles including handling details for AACSB accreditation such as the BSQ/APQ and visit documents. She holds a B.B.A. in Human Resource Management from Eastern Michigan University and a M.A. in Career Counseling from the University of South Florida.
Mark M. Higgins, Saint Louis University, Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business
Mark Higgins is the Edward Jones Dean of the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business at Saint Louis University. From 2006 through 2014, he was the dean of the University of Rhode Island’s College of Business Administration. Prior to beginning his academic career, he was a Tax Manager for EY. He currently serves as co-chair of the Pathways Commission. He has served as president of the American Taxation Association, on the Executive Committee of the American Accounting Association, and currently serves on the AACSB Accounting Accreditation Committee. He is the co-author of “Concepts in Taxation” (20th ed.). His research has been published in the Journal of Accounting Education, Critical Perspectives in Accounting, the Accounting Historians Journal, the Tax Adviser, Journal of Legal Tax Research, and Tax Notes.
Jane Lawler, AACSB International
Jane Lawler serves as senior manager, accreditation services at AACSB, managing a portfolio of approximately 175 business schools worldwide. Jane’s background includes positions in communications and higher education serving as Director of Continuing Studies at the University of Tampa for many years. She holds a M.A. in Counseling from the University of South Florida as well as an MBA from the University of Tampa.
