Simone is a trilingual Austrian with extensive experience in business creation and management, marketing, communications, digital, content strategy and training having lived in several countries and always worked in international environments. After 15 years with GE she obtained her Executive MBA with HEC Paris majoring in Entrepreneurship and Innovation and created her own start-up in the education sector. After this exciting experience, Simone joined Barco as Head of Marketing for the Teaching & Training division bringing her hands-on experience in education & pedagogy together with her competencies from the corporate world.

This includes implementing a digital transformation roadmap, which aims to transform business education by applying technology in agile, pragmatic and innovative ways. Choo Tatt was previously Senior Vice President in Technology Group at GIC, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund for over 20 years, overseeing areas including digital transformation, business partnership, enterprise applications and IT infrastructure.

Pieter Vancoillie, Product Manager, Barco Teaching & Learning Division

Pieter holds a MSc in engineering informatics, has been active in information technology for 12 years and has been with Barco since 2017. He has been leading innovation projects and business in various markets such as public governance, healthcare and recently EdTech. Throughout his career Pieter has been a change agent for digital transformation centered around customer experience, collaboration, and ecosystems. As product manager for Barco weConnect he plays a key role in defining strategic vision for future product development and shaping a successful business.
