This introductory course establishes a shared foundation for understanding AI tools commonly used in business research and the ethical risks associated with their use. Participants explore principles of research integrity, transparency, authorship, data governance, and bias as they relate to AI-supported research activities. Emphasis is placed on recognizing ethical issues and applying institutional and disciplinary guidance with support.
This course represents the Developing, Guided Practice stage of the four-course, Certificate in Ethics of AI in Business Research program and builds the foundation for increasingly independent and advanced practice.
