Developed for business school deans, by experienced business school deans, the program bridges personal leadership and institutional impact. Explore practical tools with a focus on building an effective leadership team, global insights, emotional intelligence, stakeholder alignment, and the distinct challenges of your first term—equipping you to navigate challenges and lead effectively throughout your tenure as a dean. As part of a cohort of deans, you will also be in a community where you can safely share your experiences confidentially.
Who Should Participate?
This program is designed for new and aspiring deans, interim deans, senior associate deans, and those in similar roles globally who are preparing to step into or currently hold a top leadership position in a business school.
Deans within the first five years will find the content especially helpful since it is presented by experienced deans who have navigated many of the challenges you will face.
What Do We Mean by ‘Dean’?
While titles may vary across regions, dean refers broadly to the head of a higher education business unit or the most senior academic leader responsible for its strategic direction and academic quality.
Program Schedule and Pricing
The Dean’s Journey runs for 6 months and includes two in-person sessions (one as the first session and one as the last session of the program) along with five live virtual sessions. The second cohort is offered at the introductory rate of 4,500 USD, with additional bundle options available for those wishing to combine their experience with AACSB’s conferences associated with the in-person sessions.
