Manetta founded Argent Associates, a certified minority- and female-owned company, in 1998. Argent‘s technology platforms track assets and monitors the environment for assets and shipments across the world. Argent’s customer base spans government, enterprise, and telecommunications sectors.

Manetta created the company in 1998 in a room over her garage with a computer, a tech-savvy 14-year-old cousin, and an idea to fulfill unaddressed needs in the telecommunications industry. “I always had the entrepreneurial spirit; I had other businesses on the side but never took the plunge until I knew there was stability at home and the children were old enough,” Manetta remembers.

One of Manetta’s most notable accomplishments has been the record growth and entrepreneurial spirit of Argent Associates under her leadership. Since 2007, Argent has increased its revenues from 9 million USD to over 100 million USD. The company employs over 100 people and has increased its physical presence to eight facilities in six U.S. states and has expanded its reach through affiliate partnerships in Canada, Mexico, Argentina, the U.K., and Egypt.

Both Manetta and Argent have been included in various rankings and received numerous awards for entrepreneurial success.
