Marwan Tarazi

Marwan is the Director of the Center for Continuing Education at Birzeit University.  His work is focused on the design of developmental models - specific to the local context, for transforming the way people learn, work and interact within the society in a rapidly transforming world. He firmly believes that only through effective learning paradigms can the region create a workforce prepared for the future of work and a society able to stand up in the face the enormous challenges facing the region.  Marwan has dedicated his career to re-designing and creating development models that emphasize the true meaning of learning: knowledge creation, innovation and development of skills in meaningful contexts relevant to the needs of learners and society.

Marwan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from McGill University and an M.B.A. from Kellogg’s School of Management at Northwestern University.  He serves on the board of directors of several educational and civil society institutions.


Viviane Y. Naimy

Viviane Y. Naimy is a Professor of Finance and the Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics at Notre Dame University, Lebanon. She was the Chair of the Finance and Accounting Department, the Director of the Admissions office, and the Director of the Office of Tests, Measurement, and Evaluation. She has published a large number of articles in the fields of risk management and financial modeling. Naimy has worked for several banks and provided extensive training to executive directors of financial institutions in Europe and the Arab countries and is still serving as a financial consultant.

Salma A.Bukhatwa

Dr. Salma received her Bachelor in Pharmacy from Tripoli University- Tripoli- Libya in 1989 and her MSc in Pharmacology from University of Benghazi- Benghazi- Libyain 1998. Finally, she was earned her PhD in Pharmacology from King’s College London, UK in 2008.
Dr. Salma is currently the Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy at the Libyan International Medical University(LIMU), leading the first PharmD Program in the country. Dr. Salma is also heading the “Academic Relations & international Cooperation Office” at LIMU



Thami Ghorfi

Thami Ghorfi is President of ESCA School of Management, (an African leading Business School based in Casablanca, Morocco) where he teaches communication strategy and change management. Prof. Thami Ghorfi has developed an expertise on management practices in Morocco and the Maghreb region, in entrepreneurship and change management.

He was appointed in 2011 as an expert member of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council, a constitutional institution of Kingdom of Morocco.Through his position as Vice President of the AL AMANA foundation – leading micro finance organization in the MENA region- is strongly involved in charity and the fight against financial exclusion.

Thami graduated from ISG-Paris and ESSEC Business School. He holds a Doctorate Honoris Causa from Grenoble Ecole de Management.








Leila Triki

Leila is Dean of the Mediterranean School of Business (MSB) - Tunisia, a leading Business School in the MEA region where she is responsible for establishing medium to long-term goals, strategic planning, and detailed administrative management for a double-accredited fast-growing business school (EPAS and AMBA accredited).

Leila has over ten years of experience in higher education administration, including academic leadership, strategic development and planning, organizational design, change management, program design and implementation. Analytical thinker with strong international network Leila is passionate about achieving social and economic development through building capabilities.

She worked as a Consultant for the World Bank Group, Washington D.C. within the Financial Sector Group. Leila serves today in the International Advisory Board of Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon, Portugal as well as in the Tunisia-UK Higher Education Commission and since June 2019 is a member of the EPAS Accreditation Board. She served on the MENA Advisory Council of AACSB from 2016 to 2019. Leila holds a MSc and a PhD in Economic Theory from Sorbonne University, France, as well as an EMBA from MSB.
