Innovative Partnerships in Finance and Accounting

This webinar will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
Join us for an enlightening webinar exploring how two schools recognized in AACSB’s 2025 Innovations That Inspire program are transforming finance and accounting education through partnerships. In its Bridging Finance Education with Industry program, San José State University partners with Morgan Stanley and CeriFi to offer a sponsored SIE® program that connects students with real-world finance opportunities. Meanwhile, Deakin University’s Counting on U initiative trains business advisors to support SME owners’ mental health in a national, cross-sector collaboration.
Representatives from each school and their industry partner will discuss the partnerships’ beginnings, obstacles and solutions, and mutual benefits in a panel discussion moderated by Julie Peters, PwC’s US University Relations Leader. The session will offer valuable insights into how strategic collaborations can enhance education and address real-world challenges in the finance and accounting sectors.
