Impactful research is an important pillar of many business schools’ missions. The research profile and mix of basic, applied, and pedagogical research varies and is guided by the priorities set forth by the school’s strategy. Thus, an intentional approach to research is necessary for producing relevant and quality research that aligns well with the mission of the school and that can also impact policy. Given that the MENA context has its specific opportunities and challenges with respect to research, this session will share some examples of MENA business schools promoting and ensuring quality research.
