We convene those who want to learn, share, and create knowledge and practices around responsible business. The vision will see us brokering meaningful relationships among our stakeholders and communities and fostering a culture of shared, deliberative, and ethical leadership for a more equitable and sustainable future. 

Our purpose

The School’s rich history as part of one of the first civic universities is felt as deeply now as it was at the time of its founding in 1902. For us it is not solely about engaging with the world around us, but driving, proactively and collaboratively, the development and support of societies’ leaders – both locally and further afield. As a truly global Business School, with campus offerings in the UK, Dubai, and Singapore, as well as our digital learning offerings that span the globe, an alumni base of more than 55,000 graduates, a current student base of 7500+, representing 165 distinct nationalities, almost 200 post-graduate research students, and a diverse group of 400+ staff from 50 different countries, we focus on ensuring that every member of our community can reach their potential. In a time of continuous disruption, growing inequity, and unpredictability, Birmingham Business School will be known as a conveyer of knowledge, thought-leadership and expertise to a range of audiences.
