MSB prepares global minded leaders through lifelong learning, innovative pedagogy and applied research relevant to its region

The Mediterranean School of Business (MSB) is an independent business school affiliated to the South Mediterranean University, the first English speaking University in Tunisia created in 2002. MSB had a clear positioning reconciling academic rigor and business relevance.  SMU’s initiator, Pr. Mahmoud Triki, is a US educated scholar who had a clear vision of developing a regional hub of excellence based in his home country, Tunisia, and building a bridge between Western countries and the African continent.  Among the specificities of North American education is its openness and relevance to the needs of the corporate world. To achieve his mission, the initiator strategically reached out to the following categories of founding members (1) corporates (2) US educated scholars (3) business leaders and (4) professionals.

Throughout the years, the school has kept up its efforts to increase the quality and impact of both its academic and business activity. This has required continuous proactive change, innovation in structure, programs and technology in order to ensure increased relevance, reputation and impact. With its focus on academic excellence, MSB achieved to put Tunisia on the map of top-quality education destination. Indeed, thanks to the quality of its different programs, MSB made of Tunisia among the few business schools holding three of the most prestigious international accreditations: AMBA for its graduate programs, EFMD for its undergraduate program and AACSB. MSB was also cited by the Financial Times as a model of Business schools in Africa.
