The Carroll School of Management at Boston College ranks among the world’s leading business schools. It offers a rigorous, transformative academic experience that integrates the study of management with the liberal arts, while developing critical thinking skills and fostering ethical leadership. Part of a vibrant, Jesuit, Catholic university, the Carroll School draws inspiration and direction from our centuries-old religious and intellectual heritage. We maintain an enduring conviction that successful management education in the 21st century must combine excellence in teaching and research with reflection and action. The Carroll School educates the whole person in an atmosphere that is inclusive, ethical, caring, collaborative, and respectful of all, consistent with Boston College’s institutional mission and motto of “Ever to Excel.”

At the core of our student experience is a rigorous curriculum that distinctively blends innovative, challenging business courses with insights from other fields of knowledge and experience. The Carroll School is consistently ranked among the top undergraduate business schools in the country—with three academic departments ranked in the top 20 by U.S. News & World Report. As teachers and scholars, Carroll School faculty members improve business practice, publish in top journals, and prepare students to flourish in their careers. Our faculty has repeatedly ranked in the top 20 internationally for research quality and productivity, in authoritative surveys by the —Financial Times—. —Bloomberg Businessweek— gave them an A+ in the classroom. This combination—the highest level teaching and research—is rarely achieved in the world of management education. Eight academic centers, dedicated career services, personalized advising, resume workshops, and more give Carroll School students full access to a range of resources. The results show 83% of the undergraduate Class of 2017 who sought employment were hired within three months of graduation, earning a median starting salary of $62,250. As part of a Jesuit Catholic university, we’re committed to the formation of the whole person—men and women with interests that extend beyond business and who continuously reflect on who they are, who they want to be, and how they want to use their talents to address the world’s needs.
