Guodong Xu
Regional Head, East Asia
Guodong serves as the Regional Head of East Asia for AACSB. China (mainland), Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, and Mongolia are the markets included in his East Asia portfolio. Guodong has extensive leadership experience in both higher education, as well as for professional membership organizations. He brings to AACSB an invaluable background working in advocacy and business development with universities and businesses in China. Most recently, Guodong served as China Principal Counselor for the Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy. Prior to that, he led the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants’ China team and operations in China as Market Director. He has also held MBA program director and executive director roles for Tongji University and Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance at SJTU. Guodong earned his Master of International Business Administration from the MIT Sloan – Lingnan Joint Program and his Bachelor of Economics from Peking University.
