Maria BaltarMaria Baltar, AACSB International

Maria Baltar serves as Assistant Vice President, Accreditation Operations and Implementation at AACSB International. She oversees a portfolio of over 50 schools in Latin America and the United States. Maria works closely with our global volunteer network, serves as the staff liaison to the Initial, Accounting and Continuous Improvement Accreditation Committees. Maria’s career spans over 20 years and includes management experience in the hospitality and wholesale IT distribution industries. Maria has a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of South Florida and an MBA from the University of Tampa.

 

Frank_BucklessFrank Buckless, North Carolina State University, Poole College of Management

Frank Buckless is the Stephen P. Zelnak Jr. Dean of the Poole College of Management at NC State University. Prior to becoming Dean, he was the Department Head of Accounting for 18 years. Under his leadership of the Department of Accounting, the undergraduate and graduate accounting programs experienced significant growth and recognition, and the department received initial accreditation from the AACSB. During that time, the department also generated support for impactful academic research –– engaging with organizations such as the Bank of America Foundation to support the Enterprise Risk Management Initiative, and the National Science Foundation (NSF) to support product and technology commercialization. A member of the NC State accounting faculty since 1989, Buckless received his doctorate in accounting from Michigan State University. He currently serves as Vice Chair for the AACSB Accounting Accreditation Committee and is a committee member for the AACSB Accounting Accreditation Policy Committee.

Rachel Dixon-ZudarRachel Dixon-Zudar, AACSB International

Rachel Dixon-Zudar serves as manager, accreditation services at AACSB International, managing a portfolio of approximately 180 business schools throughout the United States. Rachel’s background includes positions in marketing as well as previously working in the conferences department of AACSB. She holds an MBA in Strategy from The University of Alabama.
