Quality and Impact
Register today! Program begins January 4.

This intensive 9-module program equips participants with the essential skills to design, implement, and evaluate effective Assurance of Learning (AoL) processes in business education. Through a combination of live workshops, hands-on exercises, peer collaboration, and independent practice, participants will build a Personal AoL Skills Portfolio & Action Roadmap, which serves both as a capstone deliverable and a professional reference tool for future AoL activities. This portfolio will include mission alignment exercises, curriculum maps, rubrics, data collection frameworks, and a detailed improvement plan, culminating in a 12–18-month individual action plan.

The next program will begin January 2026.

Across the 9 modules, participants progress through a sequenced learning path:

  1. Building Foundations: understanding the purpose and scope of AoL within AACSB standards, aligning objectives with mission, and crafting measurable learning outcomes using Bloom’s Taxonomy.
  2. Designing and Applying AoL Processes: mapping curriculum, identifying learning gaps, designing direct and indirect measures, and building effective analytic rubrics.
  3. Closing the Loop and Planning Forward: collecting and interpreting data, developing continuous improvement plans, and engaging stakeholders in sustaining quality learning outcomes.

The course is designed for individual skill mastery rather than institutional plan creation, making it ideal for faculty, accreditation managers/AoL coordinators, academic leaders and academic staff seeking to strengthen their AoL expertise.

By the end of the program, participants will have developed the practical skills and resources needed to confidently lead or contribute to their institution’s AoL processes, support accreditation requirements, and promote continuous learning improvement.

Course Requirements

Active participation in discussions, peer reviews, and group activities is essential for successful completion.
