AACSB 2017 Data Guide: Building Connections

AACSB is building connections—connections within the business school, between business schools and industry, and with communities.
One way of creating connections is through the wide array of business school data available in DataDirect. The largest database of business school information globally, AACSB’s DataDirect enables users to identify potential collaborators, determine peer schools, discover program or salary trends, and much more.
The 2017 Data Guide reveals just a sampling of what DataDirect has to offer. The data in the guide span 859 institutions offering business degrees in 62 countries around the world.
This year, you will find a few new types of data visualizations, including scatterplots and boxplots. For the first time, the guide also shares admissions data, including the ratio of offers to applications among master’s level programs.
The guide has also been expanded to include data from AACSB affinity group surveys for two departments that have specialized functions: marketing communications and development. We’ve profiled what each of these programs typically look like in the aggregate, including number of staff, budgets, priorities, and common challenges.
