Build skills and network in interactive, workshop-style lessons focused on each accreditation standard, allowing you to create effective plan of action for your school. Learn what is important and expected at each stage of the accreditation process through group interactions, breakout sessions, and spaced learning in a virtual environment.
Focusing on the 2020 AACSB Accreditation Standards, the seminar will provide you with the knowledge and resources to avoid common challenges in the accreditation process.

Ross James, University of Canterbury
Ross James is currently the Dean of Academic Governance at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand after serving as the Dean of Business at the UC Business School between 2012 and 2020 where he led the School through its initial AACSB accreditation in 2014. He has been actively involved as an AACSB volunteer. He has mentored two schools, served on eight PRT teams (three as Chair) and has been a member on the AACSB Initial Accreditation Committee since 2019. He has also been a presenter at previous AACSB events.
Tim Mescon, AACSB International
Timothy S. Mescon is executive vice president and chief officer for Europe, the Middle East and Africa for AACSB International. He is president emeritus of Columbus State University (Georgia) where he served from 2008-2014. Previously, he served as dean and Dinos Eminent Scholar Chair for 18 years at the Michael J. Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University in Georgia. Mescon gained extensive experience as an AACSB peer review team member, chair, and committee member for 25 years before joining AACSB. He is the author of more than 200 articles and case studies, and he has co-authored four books, his latest "Entrepreneurship: Venture Initiation, Management and Development" 2nd edition (Routledge/M.E. Sharpe). Mescon received his PhD from the Terry College at The University of Georgia, MBA from the Cox School at Southern Methodist University and BA from Tulane University.

This course will be delivered via AACSB's Learning Portal and Zoom. You will have access to the event for 90 days from the seminar date.
