As we celebrate International Women’s Day 2023, AACSB International affirms our support of equitable and safe access to education, especially business education, for women and girls throughout the world today—and every day. As a globally diverse organization, AACSB believes women and girls everywhere should have the opportunity to develop and learn during all ages and phases of their lives—to grow personally and professionally and to contribute to their communities and society in meaningful ways. Education is the bridge to understanding and connecting people and institutions across borders, cultures, languages, ethnicities, genders, religions, and economic backgrounds.

Despite the progress toward gender equity that has occurred in past decades, women and girls worldwide still experience discrimination, injustice, and violence based on their gender. Together, AACSB, our global membership, and all of society must continue to seek new ways to create and nurture inclusive and safe learning environments in all parts of the world for all who want to learn. We encourage others to support International Women’s Day as we #embraceequity and continue to advocate for equitable access to education globally.
