Juan F. Beckmann is one of Mexico’s most respected business leaders, distinguished for his visionary leadership of the two-century-old Mexican family-owned company José Cuervo, the maker of the best-selling tequila in the world.

Beckmann serves as the chair at Casa Cuervo and JB and serves on the board of 28 family-owned companies. He also serves as a director of Industrias Peñoles, Consejo Coordinador Patronal, Confederación Patronal de la República Mexicana (COPARMEX), Consejo Mexicano de Comercio Exterior (COMCE), Consejo Mexicano de Hombres de Negocios, Instituto Mexicano para la Competitividad, Banamex Grupo Financiero, and has been a director of Grupo Aeromexico since 2007. He has also chaired the board of directors of Corporación Los Olivos and of Mexichem. He serves on the Mexico City board of advisors of Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Beckmann is a certified public accountant from Tecnológico de Monterrey and an holds an MBA degree from EGADE Business School at the same institution. The skills he gained throughout his education, as well as his vision for a better world, have placed Beckmann among the most effective business leaders of today.
