AACSB's BizEd Magazine Recognized With 15 Publishing Awards

Tampa, Fla., USA (October 1, 2015)BizEd, the world's leading magazine covering management education, recently won 15 awards for excellence in editorial quality and design from four of the top associations in the publishing industry. BizEd is published bi-monthly by AACSB International, which advances quality management education worldwide through accreditation, thought leadership, and value-added services.

The American Advertising Awards
The mission of the American Advertising Awards (ADDY) competition is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising. The competition is the advertising industry's largest and most representative, attracting over 40,000 entries every year in local AAF Club (Ad Club) competitions. BizEd was recognized at the 42nd Annual Albany Ad Club ADDY Awards with the following:

The Association Media & Publishing EXCEL Awards 
Association Media & Publishing’s annual EXCEL awards exclusively recognize excellence and leadership in nonprofit association media, publishing, and communications. Winners are chosen for taking bold chances in areas of editorial quality, design, and general excellence. BizEd was recognized among more than 850 entries submitted this year with the following awards:

  • Silver for "Single Topic Issue: 10,001 to 20,000” category for “Cultural Shift – How Asia’s Transformation Will Shape Business Education,” March/April 2014
  • Bronze for "Magazines, Editorial” category for “Research, Teaching, Service,” Sharon Shinn, September/October 2014

Florida Magazine Association (FMA) Charlie Awards 
Since 1957, the FMA has presented bronze, silver, and 'Charlie' (the "gold" standard) awards recognizing the best among more than 200 magazines across Florida. The competition includes 75 categories in the areas of general, editorial, design, and printing excellence. BizEd won the following awards:

The Trade, Association, and Business Publications International (TABPI) Tabbie Awards 
The Tabbie Awards is an publication competition featuring nearly 500 entries, with nominations coming from all over the world. Now in its 9th year, the competition recognizes excellence in editorial content and design. BizEd was awarded the following:

  • Bronze in the How-To Article category for “The Search Is On,” Ron Dulek, January/February 2014
  • Honorable Mention, 10th Place in the Best Single Issue – Top 25 Issues category for “What Asia Means to Business Education,” Sharon, Shinn, Tricia Bisoux, Annette DeLisle, Debbie Wiethorn, Brandy Whited, March/April 2014
