John G. Kooti, Shippensburg University, John L. Grove College of Business
Dr. John Kooti has been serving as the Dean of the John L. Grove College of Business at Shippensburg University of PA since July 2010. Prior to joining Shippensburg University, he was the Dean of the School of School of Business Administration at Georgia Southwestern State University for 12 years during which the institution earned initial accreditation and enjoyed significant increase in enrollment. He has published a number of articles in the area of economics and finance, and completed the post doctorate in Finance from the University of Florida in August 2010. John Kooti has been active in many professional organizations as a member and an officer. He has belonged to several honorary and civic organizations. He has also served as mentor for AACSB. He has been an active member of the Chamber of Commerce, and the Rotary Club and served as President of the Americus, Georgia Rotary Club in 2007-2008.
Barbara Ritter, Dean, Coastal Carolina University
Barbara Ritter is the Dean of the Wall College of Business and Vice President of Career Services and Executive Development at Coastal Carolina University. She is an expert in the field of organizational behavior and management education with more than 70 publications and presentations in the area. She currently serves as an Associate Editor for Organizational Management Journal, on the Board of Beta Alpha Psi, and as a Board member for Beta Gamma Sigma. She previously served as Division chair for the Academy of Management, Management Education and Development Division. Barbara has experience consulting in the areas of organizational culture, human resource policies, employee satisfaction, selection and promotion, performance appraisal and development, and data collection and analysis. She is a recipient of a number of awards including the Beta Gamma Sigma Outstanding Chapter Advisor, the Horry County Stardust Award for Outstanding Contribution, and most recently, the MOBTS Peter Frost Mentoring Award, which acknowledges individuals who are distinguished as gifted teachers and scholars and who unselfishly impart these gifts through mentoring students, colleagues and associates.
