Boonchai Hongcharu is Director of International Accreditation- AACSB and former dean of NIDA Business School, National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), a government-owned, graduate-only university in Bangkok, Thailand. During his deanship, he successfully led NIDA Business School to achieve AACSB accreditation. Currently he is the AACSB mentor for universities in Asia, a co-facilitator of AACSB Business Accreditation Seminar and a committee member of the Initial Accreditation Committee (IAC). He has been invited to speak in the AACSB Asia-Pacific conferences. Prior to joining NIDA, he was Product Development Manager at Shinawatra Computer and Communications Public Company Limited and Investment Analyst at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell and Smith New Court. He received his Ph.D. from the Newhouse School, Syracuse University. His research interests include marketing communications and corporate governance.
Dr. Eko Suwardi currently serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), since October 2016. Prior to his deanship he served at the same school as the Vice Dean for Administration, Finance and Human Resources, 2008 – 2012 and as the Vice Dean for Planning and Information System 2012-2016.
He also engages in banking industry, serves as a member of Board of Comissioner of Bank BRIsyariah, a national Islamic bank in Indonesia, since 2017.
In the region, he is the Secretary General of Asean University Network for Business and Economics (AUN BE), a sub organization in AUN. Since 2018, Eko serves as a member of Asia Pacific Advisory Council of AACSB.
Eko Suwardi earned a Bachelor in Accounting at FEB UGM, 1987, Masters in Accounting at Sid Craig School of Business, California State University (CSU), Fresno, 1993 and a Ph.D in Accounting at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), 2005.
