Boonchai Hongcharu, NIDA Business School
Boonchai Hongcharu is Director of International Accreditation- AACSB and former dean of NIDA Business School, National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), a government-owned, graduate-only university in Bangkok, Thailand. During his deanship, he successfully led NIDA Business School to achieve AACSB accreditation. Currently he is the AACSB mentor for universities in Asia, a co-facilitator of AACSB Business Accreditation Seminar and a committee member of the Initial Accreditation Committee (IAC). He has been invited to speak in the AACSB Asia-Pacific conferences. Prior to joining NIDA, he was Product Development Manager at Shinawatra Computer and Communications Public Company Limited and Investment Analyst at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell and Smith New Court. He received his Ph.D. from the Newhouse School, Syracuse University. His research interests include marketing communications and corporate governance.
Anthony Kuo, College of Management, Fu Jen Catholic University
Anthony Kuo (郭國泰) is the Associate Dean of College of Management and a Professor of International Business at Fu Jen Catholic University in Taipei, Taiwan. Over the decade before he joined Fu Jen in 2008, he had been working for Trend Micro Inc., a Japanese Internet security software company, traveling to over twenty countries to help build up overseas business, speak at public conferences, conduct training sessions, and be interviewed by media outlets such as CNBC Asia, CMP Asia and newspapers in the Asia Pacific region. From 2013 to July 2016, he was serving as the Director of MBA Program in International Management (imMBA) at Fu Jen, transforming this program to a pure English-taught program with two thirds of its students from abroad. As the Associate Dean of the College of Management, he is in charge of international collaborations and has established several double-degree programs and bridge programs with partner schools worldwide. He is also serving as a mentor for AACSB. Professor Kuo received his Ph.D. in Business Administration from National Chengchi University in Taipei, Taiwan, and his MBA degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has published articles in internationally renowned journals, such as International Business Review, European Management Journal, and Journal of Business Research, and currently serves on the editorial board of Industrial Marketing Management. His research interests include international business (specifically as it relates to emerging markets), innovation (particularly in frugal innovation), and strategic change (especially the growth strategy for social enterprises and high-tech firms). He is now offering several postgraduate courses in English, including International Business Management, Innovation and Product Management, and Organization Design and Management at the MBA Program in International Management (imMBA) and the Strategic Management course at the Ph.D. Program. He has also been constantly invited by partner schools from other countries to teach short-term, intensive courses.
