Maria BaltarMaria Baltar, AACSB International

Maria Baltar is Senior Director, accreditation services at AACSB International, She oversees a portfolio of over 100 schools internationally. Maria works closely with our global volunteer network, serves as the staff liaison to the Initial and Accounting Accreditation Committees, in addition to being the accreditation representative to schools in Latin America and the Caribbean. Maria’s career spans over 20 years and includes management experience in the hospitality and wholesale IT distribution industries. Maria has a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of South Florida and an MBA from the University of Tampa.

Frank_GhannadianF. Frank Ghannadian, The University of Tampa, John H. Sykes College of Business

 Frank Ghannadian is professor of finance and specializes in corporate, investment and international finance. He joined the University of Tampa in July 2007 as the dean of the Sykes College of Business. During his tenure as dean at the University of Tampa he has overseen two AACSB reaffirmations and the Sykes college has grown by 40% in enrollment and improved its ranking and national and international reputation. He previously served as interim dean, associate dean, and professor of finance at the Stetson School of Business at Mercer University. During his 19 years tenure at Mercer, Ghannadian founded and developed the executive MBA program, initiated two new Master of Science programs and developed the School of Business speaker series. Frank Ghannadian has consulted with major Fortune 500 companies, and has served on editorial boards of several leading academic journals. Ghannadian’ publications have appeared in more than 40 business outlets. Currently, Ghannadian serves on the Board of Directors of Southern Business Deans, The Initial accreditation Committee (IAC) of AACSB, Advisory Board of Biz ED Magazine, Moffitt Cancer Center external Advisory Board and is a member of the International Trade Committee for the State of Florida and the Economic Development Council of Tampa Bay. Ghannadian has also chaired and participated in many AACSB accreditation Peer Review Teams and presently is mentoring two international schools.

Suzanne MintzSuzanne Mintz, AACSB International

Suzanne Mintz serves as senior director of accreditation services for the United States region at AACSB International, managing a portfolio of approximately 100 business schools. She assists in the management of AACSB's volunteer network globally, including training, engagement and recognition strategies for AACSB's volunteers.  She has been involved in the development and implementation of myAccreditation and also serves as the staff liaison to the Continuous Improvement Review Committee. Prior to joining AACSB, Mintz spent approximately 10 years in corporate training and development for a financial services firm, responsible for overseeing the implementation of sales and management development programs. She holds an MBA in finance and management from the University of South Florida in Tampa. 

Sarhan, MoMostafa H. Sarhan, Savannah State University, College of Business Administration

Mo Sarhan is Dean of the College of Business Administration at Savannah State University. Prior to joining Savannah State University, he was the Chair of the George W. Daverio School of Accountancy at the University of Akron. He received a Ph.D. in accounting from the University of Arkansas in 1983. Throughout his career, he has served on numerous committees in academic and professional organizations. He has also served as President of the Southern Business Administration Association (SBAA), President of the HBCU Business Deans Roundtable Summit, President of the Ohio Region of the American Accounting Association, and National Director of the Institute of Management Accountants. He has been an active AACSB volunteer, serving on committees, mentoring several schools, and serving on peer review teams.
