The Technology in Business Schools Roundtable Affinity Group (TBSr) was formed by representatives from AACSB-accredited business schools to foster collaboration and help each other meet the information technology challenges they face. TBSr exists to help improve the quality of technology efforts of member schools, share best practices and experiences, and increase collaboration among technology leaders. Attend to learn more about TBSr member benefits and how the group works to address the challenges and opportunities technology brings.

Small Schools Network Affinity Group Meeting
2:00pm - 4:00pm EST

Join the Small Schools Network Affinity Group for a pre-conference learning and networking opportunity. Alternative sources of funding: many schools are primarily dependent on tuition and some fundraising (gifts from donors) to support their ongoing operations. Small schools can struggle to achieve the capacity for generating other sustainable sources of funding. Alternatively, larger schools with executive education or online programs, grant offices, and other revenue generating infrastructures are better positioned to generate funding from other means. The session will start with a panel of those who can describe how they have successfully identified alternative sources of sustainable funding such as: grants (federal, state, private); institute or center that charges for services and/or membership; student-run enterprises, etc. Discussion of panelists’ presentations and sharing in small groups is expected to result in feasible ideas for building capacity in small schools to generate sustainable funding sources.
