Alicia J. Jackson is the dean of the College of Professional Studies at Albany State University.
Immediately prior to her appointment at Albany State she was an associate professor of management in the Sigmund Weis School of Business at Susquehanna University. She served as the dean of the Sigmund Weis School of Business at Susquehanna University (Pennsylvania) from 2007-2013 and dean of the College of Business and Information Science at Tuskegee University in Alabama from 1999-2007.
Her teaching and research interests are in accounting and particularly (1) the impact of financial reporting on managerial and investor decision making and (2) forensic accounting.
She received a BA in mathematics from Knox College, an MBA in accounting from The University of Michigan, and a PhD in accounting from The University of Texas in Austin.
