Immediate Past Chair, American Institute of CPAs and Association of International Certified Professional Accountants

Tracy GoldenTracey Golden is immediate past chairman of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants. Golden has held a number of volunteer leadership positions at the AICPA, having previously served as a member of its board of directors and governing council, as well as chair of its Audit and Finance Committee and Peer Review Board.

Prior to recently retiring from her role as audit partner with Deloitte, Golden was responsible for facilitating and coordinating reputation- and risk-related activities and collaborating with member firm leadership to proactively identify emerging risk matters and oversee the management of existing risks in the Americas region.

Golden is an active speaker, presenting at many AICPA and state CPA society conferences on topics including leadership in accounting firms, growing the CPA pipeline, and trends in the profession. She is a member of the Virginia Society of CPAs, and she currently serves on AACSB’s board of directors and on several of its committees.

Golden received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Georgetown University.
