Stefanie A. Lenway

Dean, Opus College of Business, University of St. Thomas-Minnesota

Stefanie LenwayStefanie Ann Lenway is dean of the Opus College of Business at the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis and St. Paul. Previously, she was dean of the business schools at the University of Illinois at Chicago and Michigan State University.

Prior to her career in academic leadership, Lenway was a professor of strategic management and organization at the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management. Her teaching focused on corporate strategy and international business, primarily at the graduate level. She brings 30 years of research in the politics of international trade policy, multinational competitive strategy, and global technology innovation to her leadership roles.

Lenway has served on the boards of AACSB, the Academy of Management, and the Academy of International Business, where she also served a term as president. She is also active with AACSB as a peer review team member and school mentor. She holds numerous degrees from the University of California: a BA in politics, an MA in political science, an MBA, and a PhD in business administration.
