Assistant Vice President, Communications
The Assistant Vice
President, Communications is responsible for leading AACSB's global
marketing, public and media relations, publications and web operations. A summary of
responsibilities include:

Creating, updating,
and implementing AACSB's communication strategy.

Leading AACSB's
branding initiative and implementing actions required to ensure the
association's brand and image are consistently used in all AACSB
internal and external communications.

Managing print and
electronic publications.

Benchmarking
communications activities against other professional associations.
-
Developing,
maintaining, and monitoring department budgets.
-
Managing a
high-quality team to ensure objectives are consistently met or
exceeded.
Qualifications include a
Bachelor’s degree in a related area and at least 8 years experience.
Creativity, excellent written and verbal skills, editorial ability and
customer service also are required for this position as it interacts
with internal customers, members, stakeholders, and communications
professors at business schools. Self-direction and ability to function
as part of a team within a mid-sized organization is necessary, as is a
collaborative work-style and a proven ability to meet deadlines and
handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Positions require
proficiency in Microsoft Office software and second language is a plus.
Positions are based in our world headquarters in downtown Tampa.
