Seminar Description

Continuous improvement within a business school requires a commitment to establishing a sense of community within a school's learning environment. For the department chair, the challenge is to foster productive change while still being able to support and satisfy the faculty and student needs. This seminar explores ways to accomplish change that incorporates the talents of new and diverse faculty while still valuing mid-career and senior faculty. It also explores ways to increase teaching effectiveness, improve productivity, and resolve conflict.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Take away practical strategies for team building with your faculty and your dean.

  • Acquire strategies to motivate faculty and improve teaching effectiveness.
  • Determine how to revitalize faculty and increase student learning through industry partnering.
