IPADE Business School

For over four years now, IPADE Business School has broken new ground in Mexico with its Research Center for Women in Senior Management (Centro de Investigación de la Mujer en la Alta Dirección, or CIMAD). CIMAD promotes awareness and study of issues facing women in their professional lives, including work/life balance, geo-political and social dynamics, and female advancement in the workplace, and serves as a source of solutions to workplace problems unique to the female context, in Latin America and globally.

Lancaster University Management School's Centre for Performance-led Human Resources (CPHR) was established to provide a European based hub for HR research. In the six years since its founding, CPHR has been successful in its goal by providing thought leadership in the area of HR through its publications, collaborations, and general research efforts.

Berry College, Campbell School of Business, Mount Berry, Georgia, USA
The Undergraduate Business and Economics Research Journal (UBER) at Berry College's Campbell School of Business is a student-run publication of high-quality undergraduate research in the field of business. The UBER Journal provides students with the opportunity to engage in firsthand work experiences while producing a one-of-a kind publication of undergraduate business research.

University of the Witwatersrand, Graduate School of Business Administration, Johannesburg, South Africa
At the University of the Witwatersrand, the Graduate School of Business Administration (also known as the Wits Business School or WBS) has used the case method as an effective pedagogical tool for many years. WBS is now the only business school in South Africa to host a research center specifically devoted to growing and developing the available store of South Africa-focused case studies, the Wits Business School Case Centre.

The Research for Business Strategy breaks away from the purely academic vision of research in favor of an approach where business and society are central to the various research initiatives undertaken by the School. Through an ambitious communication policy and large network of business professionals, EDHEC research is highly visible and directed toward the needs of the business community.

Cass Business School is well-known for its research, with more than a dozen research centers featuring a wide variety of topical areas. One that is particularly unique to Cass is the Mergers and Acquisitions Research Centre (MARC), which is focused on developing and disseminating research on the global mergers and acquisitions (M&A) industry, the first and only one of its kind at a major global business school.

The Eerging Markets Institute (EMI) was launched in the fall of 2010 with the aim to become a premier hub of research and education on challenging emerging market issues. This dedicated and internationally-focused center brings together preeminent practitioners and academics, encompassing Cornell’s strong history and tradition of combining teaching, research, and outreach in ways that intersect.

Nanyang Business School's Asia Business Case Centre serves many purposes: a one-stop electronic resource for writers and users of case studies focused on Asian business contexts; a focal point for a global community of scholars and researchers interested in these contexts; and an active builder of understanding of national, economic, and cultural factors in Asia and how they affect the Asian and global business environments.

The Erasmus Research Institute of Management (ERIM) prides itself for investing in quality management knowledge and its researchers, in turn building a respected reputation among global business schools and research institutes in management. ERIM’s goal of producing global "thought leaders" in management education in the academic career market is strongly enforced through its various research programs, as well as through its full-career perspective in the support and services it offers to its members. Through programs such as the Early Career Talent Program, ERIM upholds its philosophy of fostering support for its academic talent at all stages of their academic careers.

The Network for Business Sustainability, Housed at the University of Western Ontario's Richard Ivey School of Business, London, Ontario, Canada and at l'Université du Québec à Montréal, Montréal, Québec, Canada
The Network for Business Sustainability (NBS) is a consortium of nearly 1000 members, who represent almost 200 academic, corporate, NGO, and governmental institutions in more than 20 countries around the world. The focus of their efforts is the creation of credible research on sustainability issues that matter to practicing business managers.

Kuwait University, College of Business Administration, Kuwait
When the faculty of the College of Business Administration of Kuwait University decided to elevate the importance of case research and the case method of pedagogy, they faced a series of challenges related to the school’s academic environment, as well as national environment. As a part of the overall programs for modernizing the management education delivered by the College of Business Administration, the Case Research and Teaching Unit was established at Kuwait University.
