AACSB International recently surveyed member schools to gather information regarding projects and programs related to the development of Peace Through Commerce. Approximately 50 business schools responded by detailing their involvement in Peace Through Commerce activities. Programs included sponsoring international students, global business ventures, consulting, faculty exchange projects, developing management education programs in war plagued areas, and students who have created business plans for communities emerging from conflict. We hope that universities and corporate entities will find these descriptions useful benchmarks for the development of their own peace through commerce initiatives.
