The Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME)

 

Procedure for Adoption of the PRME by Business Schools and Management-related Academic Institutions

As a voluntary initiative, PRME seeks a worldwide participation of business schools and management-related academic institutions.

To participate in the PRME initiative:

1) Send a letter of support (by email or mail) signed by the head of the business unit or Chair of the Board addressed to the PRME Steering Committee (c/o Head of the PRME Secretariat, Dr. Manuel Escudero, PRMEsecretariat@unprme.org), expressing your commitment to:

  • Engage in a continuous process of improvement with regards to the application of the principles,
  • Report annually and,
  • Contribute to the learning experience of the academic institutions participating in the PRME.

2) Submit questionnaire to the Head of the PRME Secretariat, Dr. Manuel Escudero PRMEsecretariat@unprme.org.

3) Institution must fulfill the criterion of being a legally-recognized, degree-granting institution in its country.

4) Upon receiving the letter of support and questionnaire, and after confirmation that the school meets the criterion of being a legally-recognized, degree-granting institutions in its country, the PRME Secretariat will send the Acceptance and Welcome letter on behalf of the PRME Steering Committee and give guidance about engagement mechanisms.
