NEWSLINE - Summer 2001
Largest Business Schools by Enrollment*
Results of the AACSB
International 2000-2001 Business School Questionnaire, as reported through the voluntary
participation of 402 member schools, identify the institutions reporting the
largest business school enrollments for fall 2000. Figures represent student
enrollment for MBA and specialized master's programs included in the institution's regional
accreditation, including off-campus business programs. Member schools were
asked to report Specialized Master's degree program enrollment data separately
from MBA enrollment data. The types of programs in this growing category
are diverse and have a range of titles, such as Master of Accountancy, Master of
Arts in Organizational Behavior, and Master of Science in Information Age
Marketing. These programs now are responsible for an estimated 30 percent
of all Master's degree enrollment.
