St. Pete Beach, Florida, USA

St. Pete Beach, a popular destination for the entire family, is the site of AACSB International’s signature faculty event. Participants will share best practices and experiential techniques, delve deeper into comprehensive business simulations to assess learning in the classroom, and explore new technologies to assess learning outcomes.

The plenary sessions feature top faculty teaching experts on subjects of importance to all instructors. Dr. Ken Bain, vice provost and director of the Research Academy for University Learning at Montclair State University, is an education expert and author of the award-winning book, “What the Best College Teachers Do.” Adopted by many colleges and universities for their faculty development programs, it explores the results from his 15-year study of over 100 colleges across the country and is one of the nation’s top selling books on higher education—. In his session, Dr. Bain will explore the practices and insights of the nation’s most successful teachers.

Dr. Earl Simendinger, a tenured management professor at The University of Tampa’s John H. Sykes College of Business and lead facilitator of AACSB’s popular Teaching Effectiveness Seminar, will deliver his expertise and insights to enhance attendees’ teaching effectiveness.

Conference attendees will receive a macro view of business schools in the plenary session presented by AACSB International’s Chief Knowledge Officer Dan LeClair. The emphasis of the session will be on business school faculties, leveraging new data from AACSB’s forthcoming report on trends in faculty qualifications, demographics, and compensation. The plenary will offer insights into recent developments related to students, programs, and finances of business schools, as well as the most pressing issues facing management education worldwide.

Attendees who register prior to May 29 will save 300 USD. Teams of four will receive three registrations for the price of one.
