AACSB's BizEd Magazine Recognized With 12 Top Publishing Awards

Tampa, FL, USA (August 13, 2013)—BizEd, the world's leading magazine covering management education, recently won 12 awards for excellence in editorial quality and design from three of the top associations in the publishing industry. BizEd is published bi-monthly by AACSB International, which advances quality management education worldwide through accreditation, thought leadership, and value-added services.

The Association Media & Publishing EXCEL Awards
Finally, the EXCEL Awards honors the best products of the association industry, and judges over 1,000 association publications. Winners are chosen for taking bold chances in areas of editorial quality, design, and general excellence. BizEd won awards in the following category:

  • Gold for "General Excellence: Circulation 10,001 to 20,000" category
  • Silver for "Single Topic Issue: Circulation 20,000 or Fewer" category, "Diversity on Campus," January/February 2012
  • Bronze for "Feature Article: Circulation 10,001 to 20,000" category, "Game On," Elizabeth Hogan and Andrea Mohamed, November/December 2012

The Trade, Association, and Business Publications International (TABPI) Tabbie Awards
The Tabbie Awards is an editorial and design competition featuring nearly 500 entries, with nominations coming from the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Australia, New Zealand, the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Singapore, and South Africa. BizEd won in the following categories:

  • Honorable mention in the Feature Article category, "We Need to Rethink...Everything," David Bach, September/October 2012
  • Honorable mention in the "How-To Article" category, "Global Strategies," G. Arand Arandalingam, May/June 2012

Florida Magazine Association (FMA) Charlie Awards
Since 1957, the FMA has presented bronze, silver, and 'Charlie' (the "gold" standard) awards recognizing the best among Florida magazines. BizEd won in the following categories:
