Member Schools With Social Entrepreneurship Programs
Socially minded entrepreneurs
are findings ways to make both a profit and a difference. In an era when
government, philanthropic and foundation resources are stretched thin,
nonprofits have been forced to explore more entrepreneurial means of maintaining
fiscal health. Business schools are hard at work helping social entrepreneurs
develop skills they can apply in the nonprofit or for-profit sector. Common
offerings include student and faculty consulting, internships, specialized
courses in nonprofit management, nonprofit management centers, partnerships with
educational, cultural and community service organizations and more.
