Member Schools Assisting Economically
Disadvantaged Communities
The nation's poorest
communities are poised for growth, but planting seeds to cultivate successful
businesses in these areas is difficult without access to capital and
management expertise. Enter U.S. business schools who, through a variety of
initiatives, are positively impacting the economic growth of these
disadvantaged areas. Following are just a few examples illustrating management
education's less traditional - yet highly effective - role in strengthening
the economic viability of disadvantaged communities nationwide.
