Prominent Global Leaders Serve on the AACSB International Board of Directors for 2010–2011
TAMPA, FL, USA (July 8, 2010)—AACSB International,
the longest serving global accrediting body and membership association for management education, is pleased to
announce its new board of directors for 2010–2011. Founded in 1916, AACSB International accredits 593 collegiate
business schools across 37 countries, and is governed by its international board of directors.
“We congratulate our new and returning board members, and thank them for their dedication and service,” said
John J. Fernandes, president and chief executive officer of AACSB International. “Comprised of members from
across the world, AACSB will benefit from the significant wisdom, experience, and leadership that these
individuals bring to the board. We look forward to their many contributions in the year ahead.”
The following prominent management education and business professionals from institutions around the world
will serve on the 2010–2011 board of directors, with terms taking effect July 1, 2010:
- Officers include Andrew J. Policano, chair, University of California, Irvine (USA),
Jan R. Williams, vice chair-chair elect, University of Tennessee at Knoxville (USA), Susan M. Phillips,
secretary-treasurer, The George Washington University (USA); and John J. Fernandes, president and chief executive officer, AACSB
International (USA).
- Board members with terms expiring in 2011 are Caryn L. Beck-Dudley, Florida State
University (USA); Alison Davis-Blake, University of Minnesota (USA); Stuart I. Feldman, Google, Inc. (USA);
