AACSB International's BizEd Magazine Receives 2009 Tabbie Awards


AACSB International's BizEd Magazine Wins Tabbie Awards

TAMPA, FL (July 15, 2009) — BizEd, AACSB International's premier magazine serving business schools, corporate universities, and leaders in management education worldwide, has received honors in two categories for the 2009 Tabbie Awards. Presented by Trade, Association, and Business Publications International (TABPI), this editorial and design competition recognizes excellence in trade, association and business publications from around the world.

Tricia Bisoux, co-editor for BizEd, won an honorable mention in the Best Feature category for her January/February 2008 article, "Teaching Business in a Web 2.0 World", and Sharon Shinn, co-editor for BizEd, won an honorable mention in the Focus/Profile category for her March/April 2008 article, "Brand Evangelist".

The 2009 Tabbie Awards received approximately 500 entries, with nominations coming from the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Australia, France, China, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, Germany and India. Judges selected winners in each category, awarding one Gold, one Silver, one Bronze, and several honorable-mention designations.
