TAMPA, FL (May 13, 2009) - The Society of National Association Publications (SNAP) has announced that BizEd, AACSB International's premier magazine serving business schools, corporate universities and leaders in management education, has won two SNAP Excel Awards.

In the "Magazines-General Excellence" category (circulation 10,000-20,000) BizEd won a Silver Award for its May/June, July/August and September/October 2008 issues, and for the "Magazines-Editorial" category Sharon Shinn, BizEd editor, won a Bronze Award for her January/February 2008 editorial, "The Time Zone of Technology".

"Forward-thinking and business-minded, every issue provides an indispensable presentation of ideas, trends and emerging issues in management education. We are proud that SNAP has recognized BizEd and its editorial team for their exemplary efforts."

The Excel Awards honor the best publishing products of the association industry. The program judges over 1,200 association publications, including magazines, newsletters, scholarly journals, electronic publications or websites, and winners are chosen for taking bold chances in areas of editorial quality, design, and general excellence. Awards will be presented to finalists on June 4 at the 29th Annual EXCEL Awards Gala in Washington, D.C.

The next July/August issue of BizEd will be available July, 2008. For advertising inquiries or subscription information please visit the BizEd section of the AACSB website, or contact Annette DeLisle at annette@aacsb.edu.
