Terri Herron, University of Montana

Terri Herron, PhD, CPA is director of the master of accountancy program and professor of accounting at the University of Montana’s School of Business Administration. Dr. Herron joined Montana in 1996. Before serving as MAcct director, she was associate dean for four years and department chair for seven years. She is a co-facilitator for AACSB’s Impact Forum and previously served on a peer review team for an accounting visit. Dr. Herron received UM’s 2011 Academic Administrator Award and the Montana Society of CPA’s 2002 Jack J. Kempner Outstanding Educator Award. She gained professional experience as an audit manager with KPMG in Fort Worth, Texas. She earned her BBA from Baylor University and her MS and PhD from University of Texas at Arlington and has held an active CPA license for 30 years. Her research areas include auditor judgement, accounting ethics, and regulation of the accounting profession.


Musits_BelaBela L. Musits, Clarkson University

Bela L. Musits holds the Reh Professorship in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Practice at Clarkson University. Prior to assuming his current position at Clarkson, he served as interim president of Union Graduate College with prior responsibilities as vice president of academic programs and dean of the School of Management. Before joining UGC, Bela was a founder and managing director of High Peaks Venture Partners now known as Primary Ventures. Bela continues as a venture partner at Primary, where he is focused on seed-stage investing. Prior to High Peaks, Bela was the director of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's Incubator Program where he was responsible for guiding this internationally recognized incubator program focused on identifying, creating, and growing new technology ventures and commercialize university-developed technology. Bela is experienced in new business creation, technology commercialization & licensing, business turnarounds, raising capital, and strategic business planning. He is the founder of two venture-backed companies and has held senior management and technical positions at the corporate research labs of IBM and GE. Bela graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, earning bachelor and master's degrees in mechanical engineering and an MBA. He also holds numerous U.S. patents and has published over 25 technical and business articles.
